Movcan V80 Commuting Electric Bike

So far exceeds expectations. Arrived almost a week ahead of schedule. The packaging was very secure, well protected inside the box. Minimal assembly required. Less than a hour taking our time. Came with instructions. Battery is charging. Test ride tomorrow. Also customer service was available even before my purchase to answer various questions. Very helpful.

I think it's really worth the money it's nice it has a lot of features it goes pretty good miles per hour too it gets pretty up there really love it even my dad is impressed with it

I’m sooo happy I decided to purchase this e-bike. We are a one car family, and this affords me the ability to get to the grocery store or library which are about 5 miles away. I don’t want to Uber and I KNOW I won’t use a regular bike. It came in just a few days(well before the delivery date given) and I put it together myself! I’m 63 but it was easy to assemble (I did go to YouTube) and light enough to carry up and down the stairs. The quality of the materials are top notch, it’s a solid and great looking bike. Plus I can get a little exercise if I want. Blinkers, horn, and detachable battery with a lock. The price was right. I do not hesitate to recommend.

This bike is loaded with features and has a smooth ride. I upgraded from a simple beach cruiser so the weight of it was a bit surprising but I easily adjusted to it. The handle bar grips have a palm reat which give the bike ride a relaxing feel. I would recommend this bike to potential buyers.

The breeze was a breeze to set up and the build quality is outstanding for the price. The bike is much faster than any fat tire bike I have been on and the design is very classic and very easy to step through and get on and off. Highly recommended.

This is a good bike and very enjoyable to ride.
Battery life: The bike PAS system simply works so that the levels will hold the bike at a specific speed and will turn off if the speed is exceeded. PAS 1 to 5 are speeds 6MPH, 12MPH, 15MPH, 22MPH and 28MPH. If you fall behind these speed limits, the motor will add assistance and you can even ghost peddle at these speeds. People who report low battery range are most likely ghost peddling and using only the motor. Motor only we get you about 20 miles.
Ride: The bike ride is easy and I mostly keep the PAS at 2 and get great range. I first charged the battery at 28miles and it was 75% with hard riding. I rode to 93 miles at 47% battery life left so it can go more that 70 miles on average PAS riding. I live in an area with lots of steep hills and the bike has more than enough power to take on these hills. If I start to feel tired, I go into a ghost peddle mode and let the motor do most of the work. The bike has more than enough power.
Updates: First thing I noticed was the different display. I did contact customer support to ask why the display is not the one shown and they responded the next day saying that this was changed for added features. I think this is for the Bluetooth support and the connection to the app. I did get the android app but I see now that it is not on the play app store so Movcan you need to check on that. The app is ok and I do like the battery life reading from the app. It is a bit beta like still but has a great deal of potential. Movan keep the app going.
I really wanted this bike because of the great reviews it has on youtube and I figured I would eventually make this a project to make upgrades. I did change the seat post and I recommend that for taller riders. I am 6 ft with a 32 inseam so I need the seat at about 28 in from the center of the peddles. I needed to get a longer seat post to get that height.
Bike tuning: After almost 100miles in 1 week I have found that I needed to tighten the forks and I also adjusted the handle bar height and angle. The handle bars are very adjustable and a great feature of the bike. I also found that the rear spokes were loose and needed adjustments. The tire was mostly true but the spokes made noise and needed to be adjusted. I also had to adjust the front disk bakes to get them aligned and stop them from grinding. You should also bed the brakes when you get the bike and then they will not be noise. In general, I would say that if you are not comfortable with maintaining a bike, you may want to have a bike shop assemble your bike. There is not much to assemble the bike but you may want to have it adjusted after an initial break in period.
Value: I was thinking of making this bike a project and update things like the brakes to hydraulic. After riding for the first 100 miles, I don't think I will make any changes for some time. The bike exceeded my expectations and I like the bonus of the mirrors, cell phone holder, and the lock.
If you are looking at this bike, I suggest you go to youtube and look at the reviews. I researched this bike for several months and the youtube reviews are helpful and accurate.

Very nice bike for the price. I amvery pleased with the quality of the bike along with the price. It has all the feature of the more expensive bikes and the battery seems to hold a charge. I would not hestiate to buy again.

I purchased the Movcan V80 E-Bike and it arrived with a bent front wheel rim, making it unsafe and completely unridable. Despite multiple messages to the seller and even sending labeled photos of the damaged part, they have failed to acknowledge the actual issue (saying the hub was damaged and it’s clearly the rim, which we told them) and continue referencing the wrong part. Weeks later, I’ve received no replacement, no offer of a return, and absolutely no resolution. Customer service has been nonexistent. For a $700 purchase, this is unacceptable. I expected better from both the seller and Amazon. Avoid this product and company.
